Great Stoneboro Fair 2022
This year’s Great Stoneboro Fair featured 15 rides, 125 vendor exhibitors and 55 food vendors. Aside from the camels, other major attractions that drew people were the circus and demolition derby.

Dana Mandell, of Mercer, could not contain the pleasure she receives while getting up close to a cow outside the cattle barn at the Great Stoneboro Fair on Saturday. “I would love to have one,” Mandell said. “I would have it with me all day.”

Wood carver Ben Rannels, of Rannels Rustics in the Altoona area, “flap-sands” a creation that he says will be a Marine holding a flag during his demonstration at the fair. Rannels is creating the sculpture for a Mercer resident.
