SLIPPERY ROCK — Quinten Boozell and Jordan Stumpf were both four-time winners on Monday night as Franklin’s boys swim team dunked homestanding Slippery Rock, 85-44, in Region 1 action. The Rockets made it a split, winning the girls competition, 109-61.

Boozell touched first in both the 50 free and 100 free while also qualifying for districts in the 100 fly. Stumpf also picked up a pair of solo wins in the 50 free and 100 breast.

CLARION — Redbank Valley’s boys basketball team never trailed in its District 9 Class 2A championship contest against Clarion on Saturday at PennWest Clarion, making it back-to-back titles with a 47-35 victory over the Wildcats.
